EquinOS was created out of personal observations. For those of you that know me, you are aware that I abhor meetings people have simply so they can check a box and say they had it. I prefer working meetings where you walk away feeling you’ve accomplished something.

It was during one such meeting-just-to-have-a-meeting that a couple of people got wrapped around the axle on a singular subject. All I kept thinking was “stop beating a dead horse”!

It was shortly after that EquinOS was foaled as my first Highly Objective Redundant Sensing Equipment.

Its sole purpose is to interrupt meetings that have stalemated in conversation and constructiveness. Instructions for its use is pretty simple:

1. Invite EquinOS to your meeting
2. EquinOS will observe the meeting
3. The Tolerance LEDs will start to light if a topic is mentioned more than once
4. Once the Tolerance LEDs fully light, the Overload Indicatior will flash and sound, EquinOS will crash and auto lock all audio and video used for the meeting.
5. To gain control over your meeting, detach Resuscitation stick, and apply multiple whacks to the Resuscitation Application Panel until EquinOS reboots and reactivates all audio and video.
6. Congratulations! You can now resume your meeting after beating a dead horse.
