Sarah

Sarah was created with the Solution Architects team in mind. Many thoughts went thru my mind on her body design (as it does when working with stakeholder’s requirements), so it may feel like a Rorschach test as you look at her. Do you see a light bulb, a lava lamp, a drink shaker, or maybe a lighthouse. All of those could be correct.

What you may perceive as a lava lamp is a fusion matter containment tank. Below that are vents, for expelling unwanted, heated gases. These are from the hydrogen fuel engine located below them, which uses particles of the fusion matter as catalysts, to power Sarah.

At the base is the anti-gravity emitter, which when used in conjunction with the tractor / repulsor beam emitters built into her hands allows for fast travel.

Her shoulders consist mostly of 99% efficient solar array, which acts as emergency backup power, if the hydrogen engine should fail, to power her onboard computer and storage, located behind the array. The blue panel in the center of the array is her audio response generator.

Her head consists of a high-resolution optical array “eye”, surrounded by an adjustable light emitter that can reach up to 100,000 lumens (yes, a lighthouse). The top of her head houses a communications array which can utilize wi-fi, broadband, or satellite.

Speaking of perception, if you look at her eye as if it is just staring into space, and her audio response generator as a mouth that has gone slack and dropped open in amazement, then you know how a Solution Architect feels when given the requirements for some projects.
